Blink Detection Feature
People must periodically blink to keep their eyes moist. Blinking is involuntary and fast.
Most people taking pictures do not notice when eyes blink in their subjects. However,
with the new “blink detection” feature, this camera can detect a blinking pattern while
capturing an image.
1. Toggle the button to [ ].
2. Press the button.
3. Select [Blink Detect] with the c / d buttons, and press the button.
4. Select [On] with the c / d buttons, and press the button.
5. Press the button to exit the menu mode, and
the camera returns to preview display.
6. Press the shutter button to capture the image.
7. The camera starts analyzing the captured image. If
the camera detects that the subject has blinked, a
warning message will pop up on the screen. Select
[Yes] if you want to mark it as a “blinked” image.
On the playback mode:
The blink icon will be shown on the image and you may want to delete it.
