Equipment
that cannot be
fed with
the output
signals
from
the
FIXED
OUTPUT

panel,
can be connected
to
the
VARIABLE
OUTPUT either
with
a
6.3
mm
(0.25")
jack
plug
to
front-panel socket

or to the rear-panel
cinch
connector

For these audio connections, the output
signal
can be adjusted
with
potentiometer
[28]
to match
the
input
of the
connected
equipment. This
potentiometer
influences
the front-panel out-
put
socket
[26]
as well as the
rear-panel
cinch connector
[43].
The
built-in
harmonic
oscillator
(brought
into
the circuit
by
pres-
sing CAL TONE
400H2
[18])
makes it easier to adjust the
re-
quired
level.
Note: lf the tuner
is
operated
in
conjunction
with the REVOX
8251 amplifier.
this output
is not required since
the FIXED
OUTPUT
[44]
supplies the
correct signal.

Options
3.5.1Antenna
input
B
A second antenna
input is
available
as a retrofittable
option. This
feature
is
especially important,
if
the
tuner is connected
to a
cable radio
system. With
the
second
antenna input
stations not
offered
by the
cable system
can
still be received.
Press
the ANTENNA
lN PUT
B button
[13]
in
order to
activate the
optional input. This
function
can,
of course,
also
be
program
as-
signed
to the individual
station
selector keys.
