Non-recommended Paper For Paper Trays

Folded, curled, creased, or damaged paper

Torn paper

Perforated paper

Paper with conductive or low electrical resistance coating such as carbon or silver
coating

Thermal paper, art paper

Thin paper that has low stiffness
Notes For Paper

Load paper with the copy side
down
in the 250-sheet and 500-sheet trays, and
with the copy side
up
in the large capacity tray. If copies are curled, try turning
the copy paper over in the tray. If there is no improvement, change to copy paper
with less curl.

Do not use copy paper that has been already copied on.
S
The following types of paper cannot be fed from the paper tray. Load them in the
bypass feed table.
