UPPER 2 MELODV
INTELLIGENCE
Melody Intelligence is a function
that automaticallv creates a
harmony part for the single-note
melodies you play. To activate this
function, press the MELODY INTELL
button (24) until the M.INTELL
indicator lights.
The resulting harmony part is
actually based upon the chords you
play in the Arranger or Lower
section.
The Harmony part is played using
the sound selected on the UPPER 2
part.
UPPER 2 LAYER
This function allows to layer two
sounds on the keyboard. Press the
UPPER 2 M. INTELL/LAYER button
(24) until the LAYER indicator lights.
Now it is possible to play two
sounds simultaneously in the UPPER
section.
DRUM VARIATION
This function allows you to modify
the Drum accompaniment in real-
time. There are four levels of
complexity:
Press the Drum Variation ‘4’ button
to call up all drum and percussion
parts of the selected Style.
If you press Drum Variation ‘3’
button, you will notice that one or
two percussion sounds (the congas,
for example) disappear.

Melody Intelligence ist eine
Funktion, die der von Ihnen
gespielten Melodiestimme
automatisch eine zweite Stimme
hinzufügt. Drücken Sie den
MELODY INTELL-Taster (24), bis die
M.INTELL-LED leuchtet.
Die zweite Stimme richtet sich nach
den Akkorden, die Sie links (in der
Arranger- oder Lower-Sektion)
spielen.
Die zweite Stimmewird immer mit
dem Upper 2 zugeordneten Klang
gespielt.
UPPER2 LAYER
Diese Funktion erlaubt die
gleichzeitige Verwendung von zwei
Klangen zum Spielen der
Melodiestimme. Driicken Sie den
UPPER2 M.INTELL/LAYER-Taster
(24), bis die LAYER-Diode leuchtet.
Jetzt hören Sie beim Spielen der
Melodie jeweils zwei Klange.
DRUM VARIATION
Mit dieser Funktion können Sie die
Schlagzeugbegleitung wahrend des
Spielens abwandeln. Es gibt vier
Möglichkeiten:
Drücken Sie Drum Variation ‘4’,
wenn alle Schlagzeug- und
Percussion-Parts abgespielt werden
sollen.
Wenn Sie Drum Variation ‘3’
driicken, werden bestimmte
Schlagzeugparts (z.B. die Congas)
ausgeschaltet.

Presser le bouton UPPER 2 (24)
(diode INTELL MELODY allumée)
ajoute automatiquement un contre-
chant aux mélodies 4 une note
jouées en zone Upper 1, ce contre-
chant étant choisi en fonction de
l'accord joué en section Arranger ou
Lower.
Le contre-chant est joué avec le son
sélectionné dans la section “UPPER
27,
UPPER 2 LAYER
Cette fonction donne la possibilité
de superposer deux sons dans le
clavier.
Pressez le bouton UPPER 2 M.
INTELL/LAYER (24), (diode Layer
allumée).
Maintenent il est possible d'avoir
dans la partie du clavier dediée à la
section UPPER 1, deux sons
superposés en méme temps: Section
UPPER 1+Section UPPER 2.
DRUM VARIATION
Cette fonction vous permet de
modifier l'accompagnement de
batterie en temps réel. La sélection
d'un niveau Drum Variation ajoute
(ou supprime) des instruments de
batterie et de percussion.
Une pression sur le bouton Drum
Variation 4 appelle tous les Parts
de batterie et percussion dy Style
sélectionné. Si vous appuyez sur
DRUM VARIATION 3, vous
remarquerez que un ou deux sons
de percussion (les congas, par
exemple) disparaissent.
