6.2 EMC and Environmental Type Tests
The RUGGEDCOM RSG2100 has passed the following Electromagnetic Compatibility
(EMC) and environmental tests.
EMC Type Tests per IEC 61850-3
Note
• In the case of an all fiber port configuration, this product meets all Class 2 re-
quirements. Otherwise, all Class 1 requirements are met for copper ports.
• If the unit contains copper ports, the IEC 1613 conformance is Class 1, during
which disturbance errors may occur but recovery is automatic.
