How to create HI-TIPPLUS and OTS libraries on data carriers
How to create HI-TIP
PLUS
and OTS libraries on data carriers
I
This paragraph is meant for users who want to create HI-TIP
PLUS
and OTS libraries on data carriers
(CDs, DVDs, ZIP disks or USB memories) for being imported* to X-ray units (F 2-54) (not possible for
aTIP libraries). The operation of the required computer* is not dealt with here.
HI-TIP
PLUS
and OTS XTrain libraries* are structured identically. Hence they can also be imported in
principle for the respective other system*.
Copy existing library from CD or DVD to USB memory*
If a library stored on a CD or DVD is to be imported via
the USB interface* simply copy the complete CD/DVD
content including all directories to an empty USB
memory*.
Create own library
Observe the following instructions when creating libraries designed to being imported.
S
Attention!
The X-ray unit software distinguishes between lower case and upper case names of directories and
files. Therefore, it is essential that you set the computer on which you create the library to the display
of upper and lower case letters! 1750
CDs or DVDs must be created using a file system according to ISO 9660.
You may only create a maximum of two directory levels (except for the
root directory) on the data carriers. When importing the library, the direct-
ories of the first level are copied as main threat image categories, their
subordinate categories as subcategories.

Attention!
The USB memory* may not contain any
further data! 1740
S
Attention!
If more than two directory levels exist on a data carrier, it will
be recognized as invalid before import; no copying will be car-
ried out! 1760
