NOTE
If you remove the old inverter and do not immediately install a new one, then:
Lock the Connection Unit with Safety Switch in the OFF position using a
lock on the switch.
Secure the Connection Unit with Safety Switch bracket to the wall/pole,
using 3 screws
Use insulation tape to isolate each of the AC and DC wires.
Seal the open conduits using duct tape.
Install the Connection Unit with Safety Switch sealing cover supplied with
the inverter and secure with retaining clips.
10. Place the new inverter on the mounting brackets and secure it using the screws.
11. Insert the wires from the Connection Unit with Safety Switch into the openings in
the inverter and the ferrite bead.
12. Fasten the two clips securing the Connection Unit with Safety Switch to the inverter.
13. Reconnect the cables: Follow the instructions of
Installing the Inverter
on page 30.
14. Close the inverter and Connection Unit with Safety Switch covers.
15. Perform the commissioning steps as described in
Activating, Commissioning and
Configuring the System
on page 42.
Replacing the Connection Unit with Safety Switch
1. Turn OFF the inverter ON/OFF/P switch, and wait until the green LED is blinking ,
indicating that the DC voltage is safe (<50V), or wait five minutes before continuing
to the next step.
2. Turn OFF the AC breaker of the distribution panel and the Connection Unit with
Safety Switch .
3. Open the Connection Unit with Safety Switch cover: Release the four Allen screws
and remove the cover.

on page 61.
