These instructions apply to all Oximo io and Oximo TH io drives in all torque and speed
combinations.
1. PREREQUISITE INFORMATION
1.1. FIELD OF APPLICATION
The Oximo50driveisdesignedtodrivealltypesofrollerblinds,whichfullatleastoneof
the following conditions:
- The motorised product is controlled by pressing and holding a control point (radio or
wired) (see attached Safety instructions document).
- When deployed, all parts of the motorised product are more than 2.50 m above ground
or any other permanent access level.
- The apron of the roller blind can be raised by 4 cm if a force of 150 N is applied upwards
onthenalslatplaced16cmfromitsfully-deployedposition.
If the roller blind has slats which can open, the openings must not allow a pin of diameter
5 mm to pass through.
1.2. LIABILITY
Please read these instructions carefully before installing and using the drive. In addition
to following the instructions given in this guide, the instructions detailed in the attached
Safety instructions document must also be observed.
The drive must be installed by a motorisation and home automation professional,
according to instructions from Somfy and the regulations applicable in the country
in which it is commissioned.
Itisprohibitedtousethedriveoutsidetheeldofapplicationdescribedabove.Suchuse,
and any failure to comply with the instructions given in this guide and in the attached Safety
instructionsdocument,absolvesSomfyofanyliabilityandinvalidatesthewarranty.
The installer must inform its customers of the operating and maintenance conditions
for the drive and must provide them with the instructions for use and maintenance, and
