Using your digital camcorder abroad
Each country has its own electric and TV color systems. Before using your digital
camcorder abroad, check the following points.
Power sources
You can use your digital camcorder in any country with the AC-V615 AC power
adaptor within 100 V to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
Difference in color systems
This digital camcorder is an NTSC system based digital camcorder. If you want to view
the playback picture on a monitor, it must be an NTSC system based monitor.
Check the following list.
NTSC system countries
Bahama Islands, Bolivia, Canada, Central America, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Jamaica,
Japan, Korea, Mexico, Peru, Surinam, Taiwan, the Philippines, the U.S.A., Venezuela,
etc.
PAL system countries
Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Great Britain,
Holland, Hong Kong, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal,
Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, etc.
PAL-M system country
