Slide the LIGHT switch to ON.
b Notes
The video light generates strong light. Do not
use the video light directly in front of the eyes at
close range.
The battery drains quickly while using the video
light.
When the video light is lit, automatic white
balance adjustment may not work properly
depending on the recording conditions. In this
case, use the white balance function (p. 36).
It may take several seconds for the video light to
turn off after you turn off the power of the
camcorder with a remote controller (sold
separately) connected to the REMOTE jack.
The supplied video light diffuser reduces
the glare and softens light.
b Notes
The color temperature varies slightly depending
on the temperature of the white LED. Adjust the
white balance of the camera manually before
recording.
You can make optimal recordings in
various situations.
1 Press the MENU button B.
2 Select (CAMERA SET) t
[AUTO MODE SET] with the V/v/B/
b/SET button A .
