126 Loneworker monitoring
Responding to a loneworker
alarm
If you hear a beep to indicate that the radio is
expecting a response from you to acknowledge that
you are safe. The message “Loneworker awaiting”
and a horizontal scroll bar appear indicating the
remaining time until an emergency action is triggered.
Press any key.
Otherwise the radio will activate emergency mode or
(in trunked mode) send a status update.
Delaying the emergency action
(conventional mode only)
In conventional mode, an additional emergency entry
delay may be programmed which allows you to press
a scroll key within a programmed time (usually 10
seconds) after the response time expires to delay the
emergency action.
You now have the opportunity to turn the radio off and
on to cancel the loneworker alarm.
The emergency action can be delayed only
once.
