This chapter contains performance verification procedures for the specifications marked with the symbol. The following
equipment, or a suitable equivalent, is required to complete these procedures.

You may need additional cables and adapters, depending on the actual test equipment you use.
These procedures cover all MDO3000 models. Please disregard any checks that do not apply to the specific model you are
testing.
Print the test record on the following pages and use it to record the performance test results for your oscilloscope.
NOTE. Completion of the performance v erifi cation procedure does not update the stored time and date of the latest
successful adjustment. The date and time are updated only w hen the adjustment procedures in the service manual are
successfully completed.
The performance verification procedures verify the performance of y our instrument. They do not adjust your instrument. If
your instrument fails any of the performance verification tests, you should perform the factory adjustment procedures as
described in the MDO3000 Series Service Manual.
