Limit and Mask Testing
Monitor an active input signal against a mask with the M DO3LMT Limit and Mask Test Module. Output pass or fail results.
The results can show whether the input signal is within the user-defined vertical and horizontal bounds of the mask. You can
create yo
ur own mask or recall a mask from a file. To set up and run a limit or m ask test, do the following:
1. Select
or create the mask.
2. Set up
the test.
3. Run th
e test and view the results.
Create or Select the Mask
The two mask types you can create or select are: limit test and custom.
Create a limit test mask.
1. Push the front panel Default Setup button.
2. Connect your probe from your oscilloscope
to the mask source.
3. Push the front panel Autoset button.
