Practicedrivingthemachine,becauseitsoperating
characteristicsaredifferentthansomeutilityvehicles.

transmissionspeedandenginespeed.
Tomaintainconstantenginespeed,pressthetraction
pedalslowly.Thisallowstheenginetokeepup
withthegroundspeedofthevehicle.Bycontrast,
pushingdownquicklyonthetractionpedalreduces
theenginespeed;asaresult,therewillnotbeenough
torque-powertomovethevehicle.Therefore,to
transfermaximumpowertothewheels,movethe
throttletoFASTandslightlypressthetractionpedal.
Bycomparison,maximumgroundspeedwithnoload
resultswhenthethrottleisintheFASTpositionandthe
tractionpedalisslowlybutfullypressed.Alwayskeep
theenginespeedhighenoughtodelivermaximum
torque-powertothewheels.
