Procedure
Ifthebatteryisnotlledwithelectrolyteoractivated,
addelectrolytewith1.260specicgravitytothe
battery.
Note:Youcanpurchasebulkelectrolytefromalocal
batterysupplyoutlet.
DANGER
Batteryelectrolytecontainssulfuricacid,
whichisfatalifconsumedandcausessevere
burns.
•Donotdrinkelectrolyteandavoidcontact
withskin,eyes,orclothing.Wearsafety
glassestoshieldyoureyesandrubber
glovestoprotectyourhands.
•Fillthebatterywherecleanwaterisalways
availableforushingtheskin.
1.Removethellercapsfromthebatteryand
slowlylleachcelluntilelectrolyteisuptothe
llline.
2.Replacethellercapsandconnecta3to4A
batterychargertothebatteryposts.Chargethe
batteryatarateof3to4Afor4to8hours.
WARNING
Chargingthebatteryproducesgasses
thatcanexplode.
Neversmokenearthebatteryandkeep
sparksandamesawayfrombattery.
3.Whenthebatteryischarged,disconnectthe
chargerfromtheelectricaloutletandbattery
posts.Allowthebatterytositfor5to10minutes.
4.Removethellercaps.
5.Slowlyaddelectrolytetoeachcelluntilthelevel
isuptothellline.
Important:Donotoverllthebattery.
Electrolytewilloverowontootherparts
ofthemachineandseverecorrosionand
deteriorationwillresult.
6.Installthellercaps.
