andcatcher.

2.Removethenut(3/8inch)fromtherodunderthe
mower(Figure47).
3.Slidetherodoutoftheshortstand-off,spring,and
grassdeector(Figure47).Removethedamaged
orworngrassdeector.
4.Replacethegrassdeector(Figure47).
5.Sliderod,straightend,throughthereargrass
deectorbracket.
6.Placethespringontherod,withendwiresdown,
andbetweenthegrassdeectorbrackets.Sliderod
throughsecondgrassdeectorbracket(Figure47).
7.Insertrodatfrontofgrassdeectorintoshort
stand-offondeck.Securerearendofrodintothe
mowerwithanut(3/8inch)(Figure47).
Important:Thegrassdeectormustbespring
loadedinthedownposition.Liftthedeector
uptotestthatitsnapstothefulldownposition.
