Zoom Photography
Zoom photography allows you to take zoom shots up to 2.8 times the size or wide-angle photography depending on
the distance up to the subject. You can also enlarge the center of the screen and take photographs in the digital
zoom mode with the focal distance increased by a factor of 2.2.
Set the mode dial to [ ] or [ ].
Compose the picture using the Zoom key.
Pressing the Zoom key towards the “T” zooms in on the subject,
and enlarges the subject on the LCD monitor.
Pressing the Zoom key towards the “W” provides a wider angle
picture.
The lens position moves according to the Zoom key setting.
Digital Zoom Photography
To set the digital zoom:

Press the MENU button.

Use or to select [DIGITAL ZOOM] and press .

Use or to select [ON] and press ENTER.

Press the MENU button.

To activate digital zoom, press the Zoom key completely towards the "T" and hold it until the
image on the LCD expands.
Press the shutter button down halfway, and press it down fully.
