4 Replacement Procedures 4.7 Keyboard
Installing the keyboard
The following describes the procedure for installing the keyboard (See Figure 4-9 to 4-10).
1. Turn the keyboard upside down and place it on the palm rest as its face down.
Connect the keyboard cable to the connector CN3200 on the system board.
2. Install the keyboard support plate and secure it with the following screws.
 M2.5x8.0B FLAT BIND screw x2
3. Turn the keyboard face up and put it on the computer. Make sure that there is no
space between the keyboard and the computer.
4. Secure the keyboard with the following screws.
 M2.5x4.0B FLAT BIND screw x2
5. Install the keyboard hold plate and secure it with the following screw.
 M2.0x4.0C BIND screw x1
6. Install the keyboard brace by pressing it from the topside.
