2.3 Power Supply Troubleshooting 2 Troubleshooting Procedures
Procedure 5 Replacement Check
The power is supplied to the system board by the AC adapter. If either the AC adapter or the
system board was damaged, perform the following Checks.
To disassemble the computer, follow the steps described in Chapter 4, Replacement
Procedures.
When AC adapter is connected;
Check 1 AC adapter may be faulty. Replace the AC adapter with a new one. If the problem
still occurs, perform Check 2.
Check 2 System board may be faulty. Replace the system board with a new one.
When AC adapter is not connected;
(When driving with battery pack)
Check 1 Battery pack may be faulty. Replace it with a new one. If the problem still occurs,
perform Check 2.
Check 2 BT board may be faulty. Replace it with a new one. If the problem still occurs,
perform Check 3.
Check 3 Battery signal harness or battery power harness may be faulty. Replace it with a
new one. If the problem still occurs, perform Check 4.
Check 4 System board may be faulty. Replace it with a new one.
