are no stable measurement results or if the adjustment (calibration) fails.
If the membrane head is dirty or damaged, it must be replaced. Two replacement membrane
heads are included.
Wear protective gloves and safety goggles when lling and changing the elec-
trolyte. Avoid skin and eye contact with the electrolyte.
In the event of contact with the electrolyte, immediately rinse with plenty of
water.
To ll/change the electrolyte, proceed as follows:
• Remove the probe plug (17) from the meter.
• Place the probe on an absorbent cloth (such
as kitchen paper).
• Pull the red protective cap (21) off of the mem-
brane head (20).
• Carefully unscrew the membrane head (20)
counter-clockwise.
• When changing the electrolyte, remove the
spent electrolyte from the membrane head. For
this purpose, a disposable syringe is a useful
tool. Carefully clean the exposed probe tip with
a soft cloth.
• Carefully rell the membrane head (20) with
new electrolyte. The electrolyte is very viscous.

• Carefully close the bottle of electrolyte again.

on the membrane head. The membrane head must be free of any air bubbles, as
these can adversely affect the measurement.
• Screw the membrane head back onto the probe. Use a soft cloth to wipe off any leaking
electrolyte.
• Slide the protective cap (21) back onto the probe head.
• The probe is ready for use.
