b) Connecting the probe
The probe is a sensitive component. When not in use, the probe head must
always be covered with the protective cap (21).
When connecting the probe, make sure that the meter is turned off.
Insert the probe connection plug (17) into the probe socket (1) on the meter, observing the cor-
rectpolarity.Theatsideoftheplugshouldthusfacethebackofthemeter.
c) Switching the measuring instrument on and off
• Use the “POWER” on/off button (4) to turn the meter on and off. Each time you press the
button, the device turns on and off.
• The meter will turn on to display the start screen with all display segments and the current
measurement function “do” (do = dissolved oxygen) for approx. 2 seconds.
• After the display test is completed, the display shows the current measured value.
• To turn off, press and hold down the on/off button for approx. 2 seconds. When a beep
sounds, release the button. The device will turn off.
