Ensure that the engine exhaust system is free from waste. Risk of fire!
Before fueling, switch off the engine and allow it to cool.
Use the correct fuel. Fuel must not be mixed with other fluids.
Use clean filling aids for fueling. Do not spill fuel; wipe up fuel spills immediately.
The engine must not be started in the vicinity of spilt fuel. Risk of explosion!
When working in confined spaces, adequate ventilation must be provided. Do not inhale exhaust
gases. Risk of poisoning!
Engine surface and exhaust system can become very hot after a short time. Risk of burns!
3.12 General safety instructions - Fuels and lubricants
The following instructions must be obeyed:
When handling fuels and lubricants, always wear goggles and gauntlets. Find a doctor if, say, oil or
grease gets in your eyes.
Avoid your skin coming in direct contact with fuels and lubricants. Wash your skin immediately with
soap and water if this occurs.
Do not eat and drink while working with fuels and lubricants.
Oil contaminated by dirt or water can lead to premature wear or failure of the machine.
If fuels and/or lubricants leak from the machine, stop operating it and have it repaired immediately by the
Wacker Neuson contact.
3.13 Maintenance
The following instructions must be obeyed:
This machine must not be serviced, repaired, adjusted or cleaned while it is switched on.
Observe servicing intervals.
Observe the servicing schedule. Unlisted work must be performed by the Wacker Neuson contact's
service department.
Always replace worn or damaged parts of the machine immediately. Use only spare parts from
Wacker Neuson.
Keep the machine clean.
Missing, damaged or illegible safety stickers must be replaced immediately. Safety stickers contain
important information to protect the user.
Maintenance tasks must be carried out in a clean and dry environment (e.g. workshop).
3.14 Personal protective equipment
NOTE
To avoid injuries while handling it, personal protective equipment must be worn for all work
on and with this machine.
