7.1.2 Lifting and lashing the machine
1. To lift the machine, hang suitable slings on the central suspension.
2. Load the machine carefully in or on a load-bearing and stable means of transport.
3. Move the machine forwards on to the transport roller.
4. After loading, lash the machine to the means of transport so that it is secured against rolling off,
slipping off and tipping over. At the same time, fit tensioning belts tightly over the vibration rammer.
8Storage
If the machine is not to be operated for a protracted period, e.g. during the winter months, carry out the
following activities:
Do not store in the open.
Store in a dry and dust-free place.
Empty the fuel system.
NOTE
Appoint an expert guide for a safe lifting process.
