Carry out preparations:
1. Set the machine down on a level surface.
2. Stop the machine.
3. Allow the machine to cool.

Clean the machine
Visual check for completeness.
Visual check for damage.

Clean air filter, change if necessary. 
Check oil level, top up if necessary.

Check fuel lines and connections for cracks
and leaks, change if necessary.

Check screw joints on the rammer base and
retighten if necessary.

Clean the engine cooling fins. 
