Short term clean up
Dried paints and stains act like glue and cause moving pieces to stick. Taking the
time to properly clean and maintain your sprayer helps it last longer and work
right every time.
Short-term cleanup
If you are leaving a project for a few hours or overnight:
Wipe the spray tip carefully before storing for a few hours and again before
returning to spray.
If you are using the suction extension, you will also need to cover the material you
are using to avoid it from drying and forming a skin on top. For water-based
paints only, pour 1/2 cup of water slowly on the top of the material and let stand.
For other materials, seal the container with a piece of plastic with the suction
extension still in the container.
