Why is there no power to my Windsor Floor Machine?

  If your Windsor Floor Machine has no power, there are several potential causes. First, check all battery cable connections, as the battery may be disconnected. If that's not the issue, ensure the emergency shut-off is not activated and reset it if necessary. Also, inspect the battery cables for corrosion and clean them if corroded. Finally, the key switch might be faulty and need replacement.

What to do if my Windsor Floor Machine has poor water pickup?

  If your Windsor Floor Machine isn't picking up water, start by checking the vacuum shoe(s) for any debris and remove it. Then, inspect the vacuum hose for clogs and clear any obstructions. Ensure the vacuum hose(s) are properly connected to the manifold, vacuum shoe(s), or recovery tank dome. A dirty recovery tank float system can also cause this issue, so clean it. Make sure the recovery tank is sealed correctly and replace any damaged gaskets. If the tank is full, the float-ball shut-off may be engaged, so empty the recovery tank. Finally, if foam is filling the recovery tank, empty it and consider using less or a different detergent, or use a defoamer.
