Error Codes
Error codes are six-digit numbers that appear on the control panel when errors occur. Such
errors include abnormal print jobs and printer malfunction.
Error codes are important information that identifies the causes of errors. Please have error
codes ready when calling our Customer Support Center or your dealers.
The following table lists the error codes that can be resolved by users. When an error code
is displayed, see if it is listed in the following table.
The following error codes are listed in ascending order.
Error Code Cause/Remedy
010-397 The fuser unit may not be installed properly or may be at fault.
Open the front cover by pressing the button B, and check if the levers on both sides of the fuser
unit is locked firmly.
If the same message is displayed again, contact our Customer Support Center or your dealers.
042-371 An error occurred while rotating the toner cartridge slot. The toner cartridge may not be installed
correctly. Remove the toner cartridge, reboot the printer, and install the cartridge again into the
printer.
077-215 The sheet feeder (optional) is not plugged into the printer properly. Switch the power off, reinstall
the sheet feeder, and then switch the power back on.
077-216 The duplex unit is not plugged into the printer properly. Switch the power off, and check if the
connector cable of the duplex unit is properly plugged into the printer.
