3. Press and hold in the SET key for ½ second to copy the memory channel data
into the Memory Bank. 0.
1. You cannot assign the PMS memory channels (L1/U1 through L10/U10)
to a Memory Bank.
2. If you manually program the FT−8800R, you can assign a Memory
channel to only one Memory Bank. However, if you use programming
software like FTB8800 you can assign a Memory channel to as many as
ten Memory Banks.
To recall (activate) a Memory Bank:
1. Set the radio to the Memory mode by pressing the key, if necessary.
2. Press and hold in the key for ½ second, then rotate the DIAL knob to select
the Memory Bank (BANK1 through BANK10).
3. Press the SET key momentarily to lock in the selected Memory Bank.
4. In the Memory Bank mode, you can only select Memory channels in the current
Memory Bank.
5. To change the Memory Bank, press and hold in the key for ½ second, then
rotate the DIAL knob.
6. To exit from Memory Bank mode, press and hold in the key for ½ second, then
rotate the DIAL knob to select ALL.MEM, then press the SET key
momentarily. 0.
To delete a Memory channel from a Memory Bank
1. In the Memory Bank mode, recall the Memory channel to be deleted from the Memory
Bank.
2. Press and hold in the key for ½ second, then press and hold in the SET key
for ½ second to delete the Memory channel from the Memory Bank. 0.
