4.2 Steering system
The steering system is composed of the steering oil pump, full hydraulic steering gear, steering cylinder and
steering axle etc.,. The steering shaft is connected to the steering gear through the universal joint and the
coupling shaft to steering wheel through the universal joint. The steering column can tilt backward to the
suitable position. The steering axle is mounted on the tail bracket behind the frame and moved around and
rotated by the helical gear and rack on the steering wheel engaged with the gears on the piston rod inside the
steering cylinder to achieve the steering. (Fig. 4-2)
