CHANGING
THE HEADLIGHT BULBS
Carefully read pag. 78 (BULBS).
CAUTION
Before changing a bulb, check the
fuses, see pag. 76 (CHANGING THE
FUSES).
The headlight contains:
◆
A parking light bulb (1).
◆
A low beam/high beam bulb
(halogenous) (2).
To change the bulbs, proceed as follows:
WARNING
The front part of the fairing (4), complete
with the headlight, remains connected
to the electric wires; do not pull them.
◆
Remove the two ties (3), used to secure
front fairing to frame, from forks.
WARNING
Handle the plastic components with
care and avoid scraping or damaging
them.
◆
Withdraw the front part of the fairing (4),
complete with the headlight, downwards
and disconnect it from the pin (5)
provided on the dashboard.
PARKING LIGHT BULB
CAUTION
To extract the bulb socket, do not pull
its electric wires.
◆
Grasp the bulb socket (6), pull and
disconnect it from its seat.
◆
Withdraw the parking light bulb (1) and
replace it with one of the same type.
LOW / HIGH BEAM BULB (HALOG-
ENOUS)
CAUTION
To extract the bulb electric connector,
do not pull its electric wires.
◆
Grasp the bulb electric connector (7),
pull it and disconnect it from the bulb (8).
◆
Remove housing (9) from reflector and
from bulb terminals
◆
Turn bulb holder (8) anticlockwise to
remove it from reflector
◆
Remove bulb (2) from its location
For the installation:
NOTE Insert the bulb in the bulb socket,
making the relevant positioning seats
coincide.
◆
Position bulb holder (6) into reflector and
turn it clockwise.
◆
Correctly install housing (9) inside bulb
terminals and reflector.
◆
Connect bulb (7) connector.
