Transporting Your ATV
When transporting your ATV, ARGO recommends to set the ATV in its normal
operating position (level, on all four wheels) and use the following procedure:
1. Shift the ATV into the “P” (Park) position and engage the parking brake.
2. Secure the ATV with hold-down straps rated to hold a load in excess of the
weight of your ATV.
NOTE: Suitable hold-down straps are available from your ARGO ATV dealer.
Ordinary rope is not recommended because it will stretch under load.
When attaching hold-down straps, care must be taken not to damage the ATV.
When transporting the ATV, make sure the parking brake (brake lever lock) is
engaged, the transmission is in forward gear, and the ATV is properly secured.
