Ignition Switch
Functions of the respective switch positions are as follows:
“OFF” position:
All electrical circuits are switched o.
The key can be removed in this position.
“ON” position:
The electrical circuits are switched on.
The engine can be started. The key
cannot be removed in this position.
“LIGHTS” position:
The ignition switch is “ON” while in this
position. Light and tail light will illuminate.
All electrical circuits are switched on.
The engine can be started. The key
cannot be removed in this position.
Always leave the ignition switch in the “OFF” position when the engine is not
running. Leaving the ignition switch in the “ON” position when the engine is not
running may cause the battery to discharge.
