General Maintenance
Inspect the oil for any signs of metal lings or water. If either are present, take your
ATV to an authorized ARGO dealer for service.
CAUTION
6. Ensure oil level reaches the oil level
check hole.
7. Install the oil level check bolt / o-ring.
Tighten to 7.2 ft lb (10 N-m).
8. Install the oil ller bolt and o-ring.
Tighten to 11 ft lb (15 N-m).

4. After the oil has completely drained, reinstall the oil drain plug/washer.
Tighten to 9 ft lb (12 N-m).
5. Pour the recommended amount and type of gear case oil into the oil ll hole.
Drive Select Lever Adjustment
1. Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position and DO NOT start the engine.
2. Remove three fasteners (1), then remove the left side cover (2).
3. Loosen the locknuts (3) securing the shift rod (4). Move the drive select lever to
the “N” (neutral) position by move the shift lever and/or turn the shift rod. The
“N” (neutral) indicator lamp should be illuminated.
