General Maintenance
4. Remove the wheel nuts.
5. Remove the wheel.
6. Inspect the four tie rod boots for cracks, tears, perforations, or any other visible
damage.
7. Check the tie rod end for free-play by grasping the tie rod near the end and
attempting to move it up and down.
8. If boot damage is noted or tie rod end free-play seems excessive, contact an
authorized ARGO dealer for service.
9. Install the wheel and reinstall the wheel nuts.
10. Tighten the wheel nuts in a criss-cross pattern to 45 ft lb (61 N-m).
11. Remove the support stand and jack.
Drive Axle Boots
1. Inspect all drive axle boots for cracks, tears, perforations, or any other visible
damage.
2. If boot damage is noted, contact an authorized ARGO dealer for service.
1. Park the ATV on level ground and engage the brake lever lock.
2. Loosen the wheel nuts on the wheel to be removed. Do not remove the wheel
nuts from the wheel studs.
3. Using a suitable jack, elevate the ATV. Support the ATV on a support stand.
Wheel Removal
Ensure the ATV is safely supported on the stand to avoid injury.

5. Remove the wheel.
