NOTICE
If the service-due indicator ap-
pears more than a month before
the service date, the current date
has to be corrected. This situ-
ation can occur if the battery was
disconnected.
Distance ridden after
fuel down to reserve
The distance you ride after the
fuel level drops to reserve is
shown at 1 along with symbol 2.
This distance recorder is reset
and the reading disappears as
soon as you refuel and top up
the tank to above the reserve
level.
Oil level
The oil-level indicator 1 gives you
an indication of the engine oil
level. You can call up this read-
ing only when the vehicle is at a
standstill.
The preconditions for the oil level
check are as follows:
Engine at operating tempera-
ture.
Engine idling for at least ten
seconds.
Side stand retracted.
Maxi-Scooter is upright.
The meanings of the readings
that can appear at position 1
and 2 are as follows:
OIL OK: oil level is correct.
OIL CHECK: check the oil level
the next time you stop for fuel.
OIL ---: oil level cannot be
measured (conditions as stated
above not satisfied).
The appropriate warning
symbol shows if the oil level
is too low.
Ambient temperature
If the outside temperature
drops below 3 °C the tem-
perature display flashes to draw
your attention to the risk of black
ice forming. The display auto-
matically switches from any other
