How to access the Scanner

Open the software application (ScanSoft

PaperPort
®
) to scan
a document.

Select Scan from the File drop-down menu or select the Scan
button.

Select Brother DCP-8045D (if using a parallel interface),
Brother DCP-8045D USB or Brother DCP-8045D LAN from
the Scanner drop-down list box.

Click Scan.
If the DCP is connected via:
