Optional Accessories
Memory Board
The memory board is installed on the main controller board inside the machine. When you add the
optional memory board, it increases the performance for printer and copy operations.
In general, the DIMM must have the following specifications:
Some DIMMs may not work with the machine. For more information, consult the dealer where you
purchased the machine. For the latest information from Brother visit: http://solutions.brother.com
Installing the Optional Memory Board

Switch off, unplug the machine power cord from the AC mains outlet, and then disconnect the
interface cable.

MFC-9760 with Standard Memory: 8MB 16 MB BUFFARO TECHNOLOGY

32 MB BUFFARO TECHNOLOGY
12324-0001
Type: 100 pin and 32 bit output
CAS Lantency: 2 or 3
Clock Frequency: 66 MHz or more
Capacity: 16 or 32 MB
Height: 46 mm (1.8 inches) or less
Parity: NONE
DRAM Type: SDRAM 4 Bank
Switch off and unplug the machine before installing (or removing) the
memory board.
Do NOT touch the surface of the main board within 15 minutes after
unpluging the power cord.
