You can create and select folders.
When using both a CF card and SD card in the camera, you can select
which memory card to use. Or you can have the same images recorded
onto both cards for backup purposes.
Set the camera to the folder
mode.

Hold down the <
V
> button and
turn the <
5
> dial to select <
n
> on the
LCD monitor. Then let go of the button.
¡Hold down the <X> button and
turn the <5> dial to select [Create
folder]. Then let go of the button.

screen will appear.

Hold down the <
X
> button and turn
the <
5
> dial to select [OK]. Then let go of
the button. A new folder will be created.

Creating a new folder
¡ The left <f> tab shows the folders in the CF card, and the right <g> tab
shows the folders in the SD card.
¡ The number next to the <
f> and <g> tabs indicate the respective card’s
remaining capacity.
¡ “100EOS1D” is the folder No. and the number on the right is the number
of images contained in the folder.
