G. Cleaning
The parts in the table below require cleaning during a service visit. Follow the
procedure listed in the table to clean the corresponding part of the machine.
A diagram of the inside of the machine with the location of the parts in the
table below is provided in the imageCLASS MF414dw and MF416dw Service
Manual or imageCLASS MF419dw Service Manual.
Table 10 — Parts That Require Cleaning
Scanning Area Clean with Oil Glass Cleaner (FY9-6020), and a lint-free cloth.
Copy Board Glass
Clean with a dry, lint-free cloth.
Cassette Pick Up Roller
Transfer Guide Unit
Media Feed Belt
Media Feed Guide Unit
Fixing Inlet Guide
IMPORTANT
Please DO NOT clean the photosensitive drum or the transfer roller.
H. Periodic Replacement Parts
The imageCLASS MF410dw Series machines do not have parts that require
periodic replacement.
