Save the new image.
Choose [ ].
The image is now saved as a new le.
Cropped images will have a lower number of recording pixels than
uncropped images.

You can specify a portion of an image to save as a separate image le.

Choose [Cropping].
On the Quick Control screen (

23),
choose [ ].

Adjust the cropping area.
A frame is displayed around the portion of
the image to be cropped (1).
To resize the frame, move the zoom
lever.
To move the frame, press the
/ / /
buttons.
To move among the items at the top of
the screen (2), turn the
dial.
To straighten the image, choose [
].
To change the aspect ratio, choose [
].

Check the edited image.
Choose [ ] to display the cropped
image.
To cancel editing, choose [
].
