Adjusting Monitor Screen Brightness
(Brightness)
You can use the “Brightness” setting to adjust the brightness of
the monitor screen. This setting is the same in the REC mode
and PLAY mode.

Auto
With this setting, the camera detects available
light levels and automatically adjusts the
brightness of the monitor screen accordingly.
This is the setting you should normally use.
In the PLAY Mode, the brightness of the monitor
screen remains constant even if the available
light level changes.
+2
Brightness that is greater than +1, which makes
the screen easier to view. This setting consumes
more power.
+1
Bright setting for outdoor use, etc. This setting
results in brightness that is greater than the 0
setting.
