126 Test Operation and Field Settings
Setting Mode 1
This mode is used to set and check the following items.
1. Set items ············In order to make COOL/HEAT selection in a batch of outdoor unit group, change the setting.
• COOL/HEAT selection (IND) ·····················Used to select COOL or HEAT by individual outdoor unit
(factory setting).
• COOL/HEAT selection (MASTER) ············Used to select COOL or HEAT by outdoor unit group with
the master unit.
• COOL/HEAT selection (SLAVE)················Used to select COOL or HEAT by outdoor unit group with
the slave unit.
2. Check items ·······The following items can be checked.
(1) Current operating conditions (Normal/Abnormal/In check operation)
(2) Setting conditions of COOL/HEAT selection (Individual/Batch master/Batch slave)
(3) Low noise operating conditions (In normal operation/In low noise operation)
(4) Demand operating conditions (In normal operation/In demand operation)
Procedure for changing COOL/HEAT selection setting
Press SET (BS2) button to set the
blinking LED according to the pattern
shown on the right.
Press RETURN (BS3) button to
determine the setting.
Check the system for each condition
through LED displays. (Refer to
information in table on the right.)
Press RETURN (BS3) button and
return to the initial status of setting
mode 1.

Procedure for checking
Setting mode 1 is the initial status
(normal). In case of other status,
press MODE (BS1) button one time
and return to the setting mode 1.
