2. INTRODUCTION
This installation manual describes the procedures for installing and
connecting the RXYSQ units with the use of a BP unit for Sky Air or
room air conditioner indoor units and without the use of a BP unit for
VRV indoor units.
Use the manuals supplied with the BP unit and Sky Air or room air
conditioner indoor units for further instructions.
2.1. System layout For Sky Air or room air conditioner
indoor units only (See figure 11)
2.2. Combination
The indoor units can be installed in the following range.
■ Always use appropriate indoor units compatible with R410A.
To learn which models of indoor units are compatible with
R410A, refer to the product catalogs.
■ For Sky Air or room air conditioner indoor units only:
Total capacity/quantity of indoor units
■ For VRV indoor units only:
Total capacity/quantity of indoor units
2.3. Standard supplied accessories
Location of accessories: refer to figure 1.
2.4. Optional accessories
To install the above outdoor units, the following optional parts are
also required.
■ For Sky Air or room air conditioner indoor units only:
Refrigerant branching kit (for R410A only: Always use an
appropriate kit dedicated for your system.)
■ For VRV indoor units only:
Refrigerant branching kit (for R410A only: Always use an
appropriate kit dedicated for your system.)
To select an optimum refrigerant branching kit, refer to
"Refrigerant branch kit selection" on page 11.
2.5. Technical and electrical specifications
Refer to the Engineering Data Book for the complete list of
specifications.
1 BP unit (branch provider)
Choose the BP unit type (2 or 3 rooms) in function of the
installation pattern.
■ For 2 rooms: BPMKS967B2B
■ For 3 rooms: BPMKS967B3B
2 Refnet joint KHRQ22M20T (Must be purchased separately).

Power supply line (3 wires)
V1+BP unit = 1~ 50 Hz, 230 V
Y1 = 3N~ 50 Hz, 380-415 V
Transmission and power supply line (4 wires)
Transmission line (2 wires)

Note down the installation location of each device in the
provided space on figure 11. Example: kitchen,
children's room, ...
Also fill in this information on the label attached to the
backside of the front panel.
This information will be useful when performing test
operation.
