Removing the base cover

Procedure
1 Loosen the captive screw that secures the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.
2 Remove the nine screws (M2.5x5) that secure the base cover to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover o the palm-rest assembly.
4 Lift the base cover o the palm-rest assembly.
