Assembly and preparation
6.4.3 Attaching the BiliLux to a DIN or Fairfield rail
1 Attach the rail clamp for the phototherapy light (A) to the DIN or Fairfield rail.
2 Insert the post (B) on the bottom of the spring arm into the rail clamp for the
phototherapy light. Ensure that the arm is seated properly, and then tighten the
adjustment screw (C) on the rail clamp to secure the arm.
3 Insert the quick-connect plug (D) on the phototherapy light into the arm socket
(E) until it audibly clicks into place.
6.5 Installing the BiliLux with optional trolley
The BiliLux with trolley consists of the phototherapy light, a spring arm, and a
trolley.
1 Remove the screw and two washers attached to the bottom of the trolley pole.
2 From underneath the trolley base, install the cup spring washer (A) and screw
(B) in the hole in the trolley base.
3 Install the tooth lock washer (C) and trolley pole (D) on the screw in the trolley
base.
4 Tighten the screw until secure. Ensure that the cupped washer is flat against the
trolley base and that there is no gap between the trolley pole and trolley base.
