Reprocessing
WARNING

A risk of fire exists when performing reprocessing procedures with flammable
agents.
► Do not use flammable agents to clean the device.

A shock hazard exists when performing cleaning and maintenance procedures on
powered devices.
► Unplug the device from its power source before cleaning or maintenance.
CAUTION
Risk of patient injury or damage to the device
Harsh cleaning agents or methods can damage equipment.
► Do not use harsh cleansers/detergents such as scouring pads or heavy-duty
solvents.
► Do not use alcohol to clean the device because crazing could occur.
► Take care not to scratch or otherwise damage surfaces during reprocessing
procedures.
CAUTION
Risk due to faulty products
Signs of wear, e.g., cracks, deformation, discoloration, or peeling, may occur with
reprocessed products.
► Check the products for signs of wear and replace them if necessary.
