4.2.3 Preparing the system
The X-act 7000 and the MicroTubes must have roughly the same temperature as
the air to be tested. This prevents condensation on the MicroTubes and on the
optics of the X-act 7000. Select the MicroTubes according to the measuring task. A
pre-tube (2) needs to be used with some MicroTubes. Pay attention to the
instructions for use of the respective MicroTube. Connect the pre-tube holder (1)
(37 01 985) to the X-act 7000 as follows. The pre-tube must be prepared and
inserted in the pre-tube holder as specified in the instructions for use.
4.3 Turning on/off
4.3.1 Turning on the X-act 7000
When the X-act 7000 is first turned on, the wizard starts following a successful self-
test. The wizard sets up the X-act 7000.
