measurement location descriptions as well as the language and substance table is
performed. The necessary symbols are then loaded on the device. To upload the
character set, the device switches to boot loader mode, which is identified by the
boot loader screen and the green, flashing LED signal light. Do not turn off the
device and do not remove the USB cable before the process is complete.
7.2 Factory settings
Once the device has been reset, the configuration steps when first turning on the
device can be worked through once again (see 3.1.6).
8 Cleaning
WARNING
Damage to the device caused by liquids!
Liquids in the device and at the sensors may damage the device.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid. Do not use any cleaning agents that
contain alcohol, lemon or solvent.
The device will need to be cleaned if one of the following situations arises:
Contamination of the housing openings (gas inlet, gas outlet and retainer for
Dräger MicroTubes, mini USB port)
Contamination of the keypad
To clean the device, wipe it down with a damp cloth and, while doing so, wipe the
dirt away from the housing openings.
When cleaning, make sure that no cleaning agent enters the gas inlet.
