18. Fuse changing
Before replacing the fuse, remove the
plug and the connector on the bottom
of the appliance�
• Use a small screwdriver to disengage the
spring clips on each side of the fuse by press-
ing carefully and pull the fuse out�
• Insert a new fuse and replace the holder until
both clips engage again�
• Connect to the mains cable again�
17. Maintenance
The bacteria filter/excess suction stop
(15) is only to be used once and must
be changed at least once a day�
If the appliance is to be used continu-
ously for longer periods (several hours),
it is important to change the bacteria fil-
ter after each patient�
Never operate the appliance without
bacteria filter/excess vacuum stop.
Only use original Dürr bacteria filters�
• Before every application, carry out a visual
check of the appliance including hoses, hand-
piece and collector� If the collector, its cover or
its handle section show signs of wear, such as
minute cracks, these parts should be
replaced�
