WATER DRAIN CIRCUIT
The drain circuit is in "NORMAL" operating condition when:
23 - The motor is ON: drain cycle.
24 - The non-return valve is open.
22 - The sump bottom valve is open.
21 - The valve which separates the resin washing water is open.
19 - The breather valve on the resin container is closed.
OPERATION OF THE CIRCUIT
During the drain cycle, the motor operates in reverse direction (clockwise as seen from the impeller side),
thus draining the sump (20).
This generates a vacuum in the drain circuit, which empties the pressure chamber of the pressure switch
and causes the separation valve (21) for the resin washing water to open; this ensures that the tank which
contains the resin washing water (18) is emptied.
To ensure that this tank is completely drained, the breather valve (19) fitted to the top of the tank must close
in order to prevent the pump from switching off before the tank is completely empty.
